MURFREESBORO-The Gangster Disciples, one of the nation’s largest gangs, has a rapidly growing presence in the Midstate.

Investigators said the Gangster Disciples’ motto is “more money and more power.”

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Nashville Field Division and the Murfreesboro Police Department announced today a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Adareus Dixon, aka: “Peabody,” “body,” “juice.”

“I just want to make sure the public knows that they are not to apprehend him or take him into custody,” Webb said. “They need to contact law enforcement to give that information.”

Dixon is charged with seven counts of Distribution of Crack Cocaine, one count of Distribution of Crack Cocaine within 1,000 feet of a playground and one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Crack Cocaine.

ATF and the Murfreesboro Police Department are conducting this investigation.
