MADISON COUNTY-Madison County Sheriff’s deputies will have an extra fuzzy passenger in their patrol cars starting on Monday, December 18  after 160 “Build-a-Bear” teddy bears were donated by “Harley’s for Hope” over the weekend at Redstone Harley Davidson. These donations are part of the “Build-a-Bear for Cops and Kids” program to comfort children suffering from a traumatic event.
Law Enforcement encounters children almost daily who are coping with a recent car accident, the arrest of a loved one, or a bad home life. A gift of a stuffed animal can provide them with a level of comfort during stressful situations. MCSO is grateful for partnerships that strive to help our children this time of year!
