Carlos W. Ivy Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026, at the age of 75.Carlos was born on December 2, 1950, to Carlos W. Ivy Sr. and Martha Ivy. He grew up in Bemis, Tennessee, where he made lifelong memories and friendships that remained a cherished part of who he was.
A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, Carlos honorably served his country in Vietnam. His service reflected the courage, strength, and dedication that he carried throughout his life.
Carlos was a devoted husband to his wife, Leah Ivy. Together, they built a life filled with family, love, and countless memories. He was a loving father to his sons, Michael and Ryan. Michael’s wife, Robin, was not only his daughter-in-law but was loved and cherished as a daughter of his own. Ryan’s wife, Monica, was also a treasured part of the family.
His greatest joy was being a grandfather to Alyssa, Parker, and Eden. He treasured his time with them and took great pride in watching them grow. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through his children and grandchildren.
Carlos is also survived by his sister, Nina Bell and her husband, Dave, along with extended family and many friends who will miss him dearly.
Carlos will be remembered for his love of family, his strength of character, his service to his country, and the memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. Though he is no longer with us, the love he gave and the impact he made will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Carlos requested a simple cremation without a service. This was his wish and we honored him until the end.
