Sandy Scott Schrimsher, 58 of Toney, Alabama died on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital.
Born Saturday, August 28, 1954 in Ardmore, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Robert Scott and the late Susie Marberry Scott. She was a lifelong resident of North Alabama and enjoyed life. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, and watching hummingbirds. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
Surviving are her husband: Charles Schrimsher; son, Bo Schrimsher of Toney, AL, daughter, Susan & Kai Akau of Toney, AL, sister, Lucy Kimbrough of Athens, AL, several nieces and nephews and a world of friends.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Rev. John Sweeney officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
