Richard L. Gasaway, 69, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS. He was born in Dennis, MS to Alfred and Vernell Lewis Gasaway who preceded him in death. He worked in maintenance for years and attended Dennis First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 14, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Jerry George officiating. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Bonnie Gasaway; his brother, Gary Gasaway (Nessa); three sons, Lee Morphis (Candace), Bryan Morphis and William Morphis (Beth); six grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bob Massey, Lanny Gasaway, Scotty Gasaway, James Gasaway, Braden Pardue and Farron Credille. Ken Ward will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 11-1 at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
