Mrs. Jane B. Morris, age 78, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 in Murfreesboro. She was born April 30, 1944 in Lexington to the late Taylor and Ethel Eubanks Bailey. A very strong and independent woman, Mrs. Morris enjoyed life and loved nature. She enjoyed bird watching and especially liked seeing redbirds. She lived every day to the fullest! She was a retired dental technician for Dr. Brown Dental Office. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jerry Morris and a brother, Charles Bailey. Survivors include her son, Rodney Carrington; her daughter, Paige McLeod; her brother, Jeff Bailey (Allison Garrett); sister, Barbara McCoy; sister-in-law, Frances Bailey; and two grandchildren, Katherine Carrington and Graham Carrington.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 PM, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Independence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 11-1:30 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington.
