Aleeta Cagle Teague was born July 14, 1965 in Nashville, TN the daughter of the late Robert Harlan, Sr. and Daisy Coughran Cagle.
She was united in marriage to Kenny Teague on April 14, 1984.
Aleeta was a 1983 graduate of McNairy Central High School and earned an Associates Degree from Jackson State Community College. She was employed as a legal secretary for Simpson & Simpson Law Office in Selmer, TN for approximately 35 years. Fishing, spending time with her family, working with Boy Scout Troop 231, spoiling her two grand-dogs, Sadie and Oakley, and going on family vacations (especially to the beach) were some of Aleeta’s favorite activities. She attended Ramer Baptist Church and was a former member of the Selmer Kiwanis Club.
Aleeta departed this life on May 10, 2022 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 56 Years, 9 Months, 26 Days. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Kenny Teague of Ramer, TN; three sons: Colton Teague and wife Cassie, Caleb Teague and companion Makayla King, and Cade Teague, all of Ramer, TN; a brother, Robert H. (Bobby) Cagle, Jr. and wife Shelia of Bethel Springs, TN; her lifelong best friend, Becky Shelby; and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Aleeta was preceded in death by a sister, Lawanda Bea Landreth.
