Benjamin "Bo" JordanBenjamin Franklin Jordan “Bo”, age 82 of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Tristar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield.

Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 1:00PM on Friday, October 15th, with Pastor Danny Everette officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with Timmy Williams, Sean Jordan, Russell Jordan, Austin Williams, Steve Neely, and Andy Johnson serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 14th from 2:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Friday from 10:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.

Mr. Jordan was born on January 23, 1939 in Ashland City, Tennessee to the late Frank E. and Mattie Mai Dillingham Jordan. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired after 45 years as a Bridges and Roadways Inspector for the State of Tennessee. He was a softball and baseball coach/umpire for the old Pleasant View Bank as well as coaching men’s softball in Nashville. He especially loved to watch his grandkids play ball. Mr. Jordan was an avid hunter and taught his children to hunt and fish. He was a very generous man who was a caregiver to his wife for the last several years. He was a member of East Nashville General Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Paul H. Jordan.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Nellie Carole Jordan; sons, James (Andrea) Jordan and Ben (LaWanda) Jordan; daughter, Carole Renee (Jimmy) Williams; sister, Dorothy Mai Jordan; grandchildren, Timmy (Missy) Williams, Kayla Williams, Sean (Janice) Jordan, Chris Massie (Kayla Bernestine), Christian Donald, Courtney Donald, Russell Jordan, Danielle Jordan (Morgan Flynn), Brady (Chelsey) White, and Kellsie White (Brandon Waller); and great-grandchildren, Austin Williams, Addi Williams, Elijah Everett, Kingston Wright, Cash Jordan, Waylon Palmer, McKinley Palmer, Darien Brown, Alexander Brown, and Coulson White.
