Brenda Kaye Nixon, age 69 of Nesmith Community, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 30, 1952 to Cecil and Vaudie Parris. Brenda was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Addison.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where the service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Northside Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Chuck David will officiate.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 41 years, Tim Nixon; sons, Robert Alexander Bryson and David Lee Nixon; brother, Charles Dempsey Parris; sister, Martha Hembree; grandchildren, Courtney, Stephen, Reilley, and Sara; and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Ann Boershig; parents, Cecil and Vaudie Parris; and brother, Dean Parris.
