Mr. Calvin Russell Talley, age 96, of Boaz Alabama, died on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at his residence.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at eleven o’clock a.m. in the Forest Crest Cemetery, Birmingham, Alabama.
Mr. Talley was born in Alabama on July 29, 1925, to Edward & Alma Davis Talley. He was a WWII veteran serving with the Merchant Marines and Navy. He was retired from the Birmingham Housing Authority.
Mr. Talley is survived by his Daughter: Stephanie White of Boaz, Granddaughters: Moni White of Moody and Ellie Green (Kevin) of Attalla, Great Grandchildren: Stephanee Brown, Brett Barron and Jaxon Glenn, Great Great Grandchildren: Farrah Simmons and Raiyna Simmons, Sister: Eleanor Baltzar of Birmingham. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Edward & Alma Talley, Wife: Frances Ruth Talley, Son-in-Law: Mike White, Brothers Amos, Alton and Donald Talley.
