William D. “Bill” Gower, age 74, of Loretto, TN passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a retired mechanic, and a member of Body of Christ Bible Fellowship.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorene Holden and Farsie Staggs; two sisters, Bonita Johnson and Juanita “Mae” Martin; and two brothers, James “Bud” Gower and Darryl Staggs.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Reginia Gower of Loretto, TN; four sons, Bud Gower of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jason Gower of Lawrenceburg, TN, James Law of Hohenwald, TN, and Paul Martin of MI; three daughters, Lesa Gower Borowske (Ray) of Edmond, OK, Reanna Gambrell (Kent) of Ethridge, TN, and Donna Luke (Chris) of Lawrenceburg, TN; twenty-one grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Shorty Franks of Lawrenceburg, TN; and three brothers, Alvin Gower of Fairview, TN, Arnold Staggs of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Deon Staggs of Lawrenceburg, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Thursday, September 23, 2021, with Jacob Dale officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
