Mrs. Alberta Jones Alberta Jones was born to Percy and Ira Burns Mack on October 23, 1928. Our beloved mother and grandmother was called home to be with our Lord on March 29, 2021.

She was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will lead them all their lives. When she was of young age her parents moved to Tennessee.

She attended Jackson-Madison County Schools. She was married to the late Esau Jones.

A faithful member of Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ until she was not able to attend and moved to Memphis Tn to live with her son.

Alberta loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and she loved God’s Word. Though she was a humble, gentle woman, Alberta was nonetheless a powerful prayer warrior, and only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying have had on her family, her friends, and the world at large.

After retiring from her work Alberta concentrated her efforts on that which was dearest to her heart, her church and family. Her joy increased as each grandchild arrived. She was filled with pride at the accomplishments of her family, always offering unconditional love, support, sympathy, and motivation to succeed. Her spiritual gifts served as a shining example to everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband Esau Jones and two sons Chester Mack and Sylvester Ross.

She is survived by her devoted son: Percy (Jacqueline)Jones of Memphis, TN, nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren as well as a host of cousins and close friends.
