Audrey Mae Thompson, age 98 of Florence passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Glenwood Healthcare. She was a member of Woodlawn Church of Christ.
A celebration of life service will be Tuesday, January 1, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12 – 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Perry Taylor and Matt Heupel will officiate.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Thompson; daughter and son-in-law, Eva and John Robert Sherrod; sisters, Nellie Brown, Laura Guthrie, Joyce Gray, Gertie Wilson, Elsie Rideout; brothers, Quinn and J.W. Robertson.
She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Golden (Jimmy), Doris Crittenden (Larry), Berniece Moore (Charlie); son, Ralph Thompson (Rhonda); sisters, Katherine Page and Shirley Furnari; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris Golden, Dave Crittenden, Trey Sherrod, Mark Sherrod, Ralph Thompson, Jr., and Jimmy Golden.
In lieu of flowers, consider donations to: Underwood Baptist Church Building Fund, Crosspoint Church of Christ Friendship Center or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
