Thomas "Tommy" McKelvey A Celebration of Life Service for Thomas “Tommy” McKelvey, 63, of Glen, MS is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Bro. Andy Skelton and Charlie Browning will officiate the service. Tommy was born in Corinth, MS on November 29, 1957 to Cleveland Edward and Mary Emily Shook McKelvey and passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at his home in Glen. He worked as a mechanic at Halls and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He liked tinkering on anything and enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved spending time with his family and friends, riding motorcycles, and doing tattoos. Those left to honor Tommy’s memory include his wife, Sherry McKelvey of Glen, MS; son, Jason McKelvey of Corinth, MS; loving grandson, Dominick Singleton; mother, Mary Emily Shook McKelvey of Corinth, MS; brother, Billy McKelvey & wife Susan of Rienzi, MS; brothers-in-law, Darrell Evetts & wife Peggy, and Kimbo Evetts; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise J. Singleton; father, Cleveland Edward McKelvey; brother, Cleveland McKelvey, Jr. and in-laws, Melvin and Jo Ann Evetts. Tommy will always be remembered in the hearts of his loved ones. His friends will serve as honorary pallbearers. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Thomas “Tommy” McKelvey.
