Mr. Troy “Ultra Man” Eugene Medley, age 67, passed away Tuesday October 27, 2020 from a sudden illness. Troy was born December 25, 1952, in Bledsoe County, to the late J.C. and Ella Mae Prater Medley. He was a coal miner and worked at Sequatchie Valley Coal.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; Randall Lee and James Medley, sister; Patricia Medley.
Troy is survived by his son: Terry Medley, daughters; Melinda Matthews, Jennifer (Joe Coppinger) Medley, Jacklyn Medley and Jacee Medley, brothers; J.C. Medley Jr., Clinton (Angie) Medley, grandchildren; Savannah K. Medley, Landon Kyle Medley and Zackary Matthews. A large extended family also survives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 31, 2020 at 11:00am in the Layne Chapel with Bro. Danny Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Hitchcock Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 3:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday 9:00am till time of service at 11:00am.
