Rosalinde Franziska Cook, 65, of New Hope, passed away Sunday. Everyone who knew Rosi knew that she loved to entertain and spend time with her grandchildren. She would be the first one in the carline or in the ball stand cheering them on everyday.
She was preceded in death by husband, Larry Keith Cook; father, Johann Niessl; mother, Rosalia Niessl.
Surviving are daughter, Simone (Peter) Diederich of Regensburg, Germany; daughter, Jennifer Cook (Mario) Duster of New Hope, AL; son, Matthew Keith (Kelly) Cook of Geraldine, AL; grandchildren, Tabitha, Taylor, and Trinity, Dylan and Amya; sisters, Johanna (Autto) Altenthan, Brigitte Braatz; brother, Markus Niessl; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Sunday1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM.
