Wayne Eugene Stacey, 45 of Athens, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Stacey was born October 10, 1974 to Fred Bufford Stacey Jr. and Jeraldine Kelly Bates.
Graveside services for Mr. Stacey will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 Ripley Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Rick Cantrell officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:30 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
He is survived by his mother, Jeraldine Bates (Mark); fiancé, Shannon Armstrong; sister, Deb Underwood; aunt, Barbara Chapman; uncle, Butch Ambrose; nephews, Derrick Underwood and Andrew Underwood; cousins, Allen Chapman and Matthew Chapman.
Pallbearers will be Dan Adams, Danny Adams, Dewayne Lauderdale, Chris Craig, Barry Craig and A.J. Dempsey.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wayne Stacey monument fund.
