Mr. Robert Montgomery, age 79, passed away Sunday in Lexington. He was born December 16, 1940 in Lexington to the late James Homer and Tencie Stanfill Montgomery. He was retried from MagneTek/Leroy Somer and enjoyed working on lawn mowers. Survivors include his two sons, Richard Montgomery (Deanna) and Bradley Montgomery; two sisters, Jewel Powers and Zelma Tomlinson; five grandchildren, Haley Montgomery, Scott Montgomery (Paige), Hunter Montgomery (Lucy), Chase Montgomery, and Cameron Montgomery; and one great grandchild, Lily Montgomery. Private, family only graveside services for Mr. Montgomery will be Wednesday at Shady Grove Cemetery. Because of the Covid-19 concerns, and respecting the 10 or less group size, for the safety of everyone’s family there will be no visitation or services at Pafford Funeral Home.
