Tours available to a nearby Rock Shelter that was once home to the Paleo Indians. The site has been determined to be the oldest archaeological site in North Alabama. Families of early settlers in North Alabama will be honored during the event. The Newly refurbished Observatory opens for Star Gazers.

This event commemorated the 1863 burning of LaGrange College-Military Academy and Lafayette College during the Civil War. Offerings include: Tours of Pioneer Village and grounds of the old college site, re-enactments, Cemetery Drama, demonstrations of period skills.

Lenz said families are still welcome to walk around the property near the cemetery as long as the rules of 10 or more and six feet distance between each other is observed.
