Bruce Edward Copeland, age 69, of Russellville, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Russellville Hospital ER.
Bruce was retired from Reynolds Aluminum (Wise Alloys). He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Russellville. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was always involved in the lives of his children and always attended all of their events. He was a kind, loving man, who always saw the good in everyone. He was an avid outdoorsman, and especially loved hunting turkey and deer with his boys. His grandson, Logan, thought his Paw Bruce hung the moon, and they shared a bond like no other. Bruce will be missed by all who knew him.
A private family graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 01, 2020 at Knights of Pythias Cemetery with Bro. Derick Washington officiating.
He was preceded in death his father, Carl Copeland, Sr.; mother, Nancy Creekmore Copeland; brothers, Carl Copeland, Jr., and Kenneth Copeland.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 49 years, Brenda Wilson Copeland; children, Brian Copeland (Jennifer), Emily Andrews, Jonathan Copeland (Dana); grandchildren, Trey Copeland (Alaina), Matthew Davidson, Josh Andrews, Ashlee Davidson, Shawn Shackleford, Ella Copeland, Logan Andrews; great-grandchildren, Noah & Olivia Copeland; and several nieces & nephews.
The pallbearers will be Joshua Andrews, Trey Copeland, Shawn Shackleford, Brandon Clement, Caleb Cothren, and Brad McKinney. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Davidson, Logan Andrews, Scotty Daniel, Cade Boyd, Jimmy Montgomery, and Benny Johnston.
