Ann Marie Mackiewicz Marchlewski, of Madison, Alabama, peacefully left us to reside in her special place with the Lord on March 28, 2020. Born in Buffalo, New York, she was a guiding light and inspiration to our entire family as we journeyed through the successive phases of our lives.

Her guidance to her children and grandchildren as well as to her brothers and sisters will be cherished and appreciated as we continue to keep her in our hearts. Though she lived many miles away from most of us, long phone conversations would give us the feeling that she was just next door. Her wisdom and guidance kept us grounded to the important things in life and made us all the more appreciative of the value of her presence in our lives.

She enjoyed living in various locations as her husband served in the United States Air Force. These included Rome, New York, Guam, Homestead, Florida, Fayetteville, North Carolina and Dayton, Ohio. Each location in its own way gave Ann Marie the life perspective that enriched her, and in turn, all who knew her.

Predeceasing her were her father Chester Mackiewicz, mother Adeline Holy, and stepfather Edward Holy, and parents-in-law Anthony and Rose Marchlewski.

Surviving are her husband Anthony (Tony), son David and daughter Debra, siblings E. Michael (Karen) Holy, James (Elaine) Holy, John (Ida) Holy, Elizabeth (Sam Fini) Holy, Thomas (Sheryl) Holy, Robert (Kathleen) Holy, grandchildren Dylan, Madison, and Andrew, brother-in-law William and sister-in-law Helen, and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
