Ernest Russell Franz, 91, of Huntsville passed away Saturday. Ernest proudly served his country with the U.S. Army Airforces from 1946 to 1949. He retired from Boeing Corporation in 1995 after 37 years. Mr. Franz also served with the Peace Corp during this time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Wanda Franz; sons, Dave Franz and Michael Franz; brother, Jimmy Franz; and his first wife, Ann Franz. Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 years, Belainesh Franz; son, Kenneth Ray Franz; daughters, Teresa Jo Franz and Carol Lynne Franz Delvalle; Four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A private graveside serve was held for family at Huntsville Memory Gardens. A public memorial will be held at a later date.
