William Clyde “Junior” Aaron

William Clyde “Junior” Aaron, age 95, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020.  He was a native of Cooper Heights, GA, retired supervisor from Murray Ohio, retired farmer, and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church for 62 years.  He was a member of Ethridge Lodge No. 777 for 60 plus years, a Past Master, also a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner.  He was also a member of VFW Post 1618 and charter member with the Order of the Eastern Star, Ethridge Chapter #257.  Mr. Aaron served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hester J. and Mellisa Mae Rush Aaron; his wife, Christine Perry Aaron; two brothers, Clifford Aaron and Raymond Aaron; one sister, Katie June Aaron; and two granddaughters, Melissa Ann Aaron and Emily Suzanne Aaron.

He is survived by two sons, David Aaron (Lynn) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Steve Aaron (Pat) of Bradenton, FL; two sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Dial of Lawrenceburg, TN and Marlene Jenkins (Donald) of Antioch, TN; one brother, Joe D. Aaron (Norma) of Haines City, FL; four grandchildren, Chad Aaron (Mary), Keli Alvarez (Russell), Dusty Aaron (Jen), and Raci Pierce (Briar); eight great-grandchildren, Jackson Aaron, Payton Aaron, Slayde Aaron, Carlie Alvarez, Colton Aaron, Aiden Aaron, Nate Alvarez, and Barrett Pierce; special caregiver, Telma Brito; several loved nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and church family.  Those serving as pallbearers are Mike Aaron, Jerry Ivie, Don Risner, Bobby Long, Phillip Giles, and Wade Clark.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Macedonia Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 16, 2020, with Arnold Brown officiating with a Masonic Service to follow.  Mr. Aaron will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.  Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with full military honors.
