Linda Lou Cooley Linda Lou Cooley, beloved wife, mother, grandmom, and great-grandmom, of Corinth, MS, peacefully passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Magnolia Regional Health Center at the age of 79. She was born on July 14, 1940 in Corinth, MS and married William Audie Cooley on August 14, 1956. During their 63 years of marriage, they raised a daughter, Cathy, and two sons, Keith and Kevin. Linda enjoyed a lifetime of serving customers during her career at Sears. She was an active member of West Corinth Baptist Church for most of her life, and in her later years, worshiped faithfully at Tate Baptist Church. Linda is remembered as a friend to all, with faithful devotion to her family, her friends, and her church. She was a gifted singer who used her voice to glorify God in choirs and solos throughout her life. She passionately gave her time, talents, and offerings to mission ministries-from sending thoughtful cards and feeding those in need, to supporting local and foreign mission efforts. In fact, she never forgot a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion for anyone lucky enough to know her. Her free time was spent going on adventures with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, calling on friends and family to catch up and check on them, and serving her church and community. Linda will be remembered as an active prayer warrior and a beautiful example of living out Christian faith in every word and deed. Family and friends will gather on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 5-8 pm at Tate Baptist Church for visitation. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 11 am Monday, November 11, 2019 at Tate Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Mickey Trammel, Bro. Daniel Jones, and Bro. Kevin Cooley.
