Memorial service for Mr. Charles Eugene Danner, age 85, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 3 PM on Monday, October 21, 2019, at First Presbyterian Church of Huntsville with the Reverend Dr. James Roberts. Visitation with the family will be held at 2 PM until time of service at 3 PM on Monday at the church.
Charles was born on June 29, 1934 in Nashville, TN to the late Joel Danner. He was a minister at St. John Presbyterian Church in Park City before retiring in 1984. He earned a Master’s degree of Divinity from Vanderbilt University and a Masters in Philosophy and Religion from the University of Oklahoma. Charles was also a nationally known gunsmith. He also taught at Petersburg and Highland Rim Elementary Schools. Mr. Danner passed away on October 15, 2019 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mary Louise Lange Danner; sons, Adam Lange (Tiffani) Danner and Mark Alan Danner all of Fayetteville, TN; grandchild, Tyler Shelton Danner; sisters and their families, Carol Peoples, Lucy Brasher, Barbara Hess, and Peggy Warren; and brother, Mitchell Smith.
