Everette Junior Naylor, age 79 passed away August 22, 2019 at his home.
He was born October 25, 1939 in Chester County, the son of the late Ferry Everette and Vera Irene Woodward Naylor. He grew up and attended school in Chester County. In his adult career he worked as a waiter in Dallas, TX. He worked in the maintenance department for Freed-Hardman University for thirty five years. After retiring from FHU he worked at the Chester County Landfill for several years.
He loved raising cats of all breeds which he did for many years. He enjoyed eating out with friends especially at Bells and Brenda’s Restaurant. He also enjoyed family gatherings.
Mr. Naylor is survived by his brother, B.J. Naylor and wife Barbara of Henderson and a sister, Florene O’Rear of Friendswood. TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dewayne Naylor and James Naylor and a sister, Lavelle Mayo.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Roy Sharp and Billy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Old Friendship Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at East Main beginning at 12:00 Noon Sunday until 2:00 PM Service time.
