Matilda Del Sol Braselton, age 91, of Huntsville, AL passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at a local nursing facility. Ms. Braselton was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States in 1956. Ms. Braselton worked and retired from Huntsville Hospital. She loved crocheting and was a member of Huntsville Bible Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son William Braselton and his wife Annita; daughter Marilu Newby; grandchildren Davis Godwin, D J Newby, Bobby Newby, James Newby, Debra Lawson and Robin Wilson and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Ms. Braselton will be held on Friday July 12, 2019 at Hampton Cove Funeral Home from 5 to 7 pm. A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11 am at Huntsville Memory Gardens
