Jessica Rae Hammock Johnson, 42, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA surrounded by her family and a host of friends. She was born in Kenosha, WI on March 23, 1977 to the late Ronnie Hammock and Margaret Vanderford Hammock. She graduated Tremont High School in 1995 where she excelled in basketball and softball winning awards in each sport. She passed this never give up, never quit drive on to her sons whom she loved more than life itself. She was their earthly rock. Upon receiving a liver transplant on Christmas Day in 2005, she prayed to God that He would let her live to see her children grown. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
A celebration of her life will be 4:00 pm on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Lentz and Bro. James Peoples officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 pm Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.
Survivors include her Husband, Roy Johnson; Sons: Grant and Jared Johnson all of Fulton; Mother, Margaret Hammock; Sister, Rhonda Roberts (Richard Shotts) of Tremont; Father-in-law, Roy (Margaret) Johnson of Fulton; Sisters-in-law, Sherry (Jeff) Lentz and Amy (Terry) Lentz both of Fulton; 4 Nieces and 2 Nephews.
Preceded in death by her Father, Ronnie Hammock; Brother-in-law, Michael Roberts
Pallbearers will be Todd Cowley, John Cummings, Cole Hughey, Tyler Patterson, Josh Smith, Layne Williams
Honorary Pallbearers are the Smithville baseball players and coaches.
