Carolyn K. Ezell Shaw, age 74, passed away on June 19, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Carolyn was born in Five Points, Tennessee on July 12, 1944 to the late William Wallace Ezell and Betsy Jones Ezell. She and her husband, Frank Shaw, were married for over 56 years. Carolyn had a very captivating personality. She drew you in with her infectious way of making people laugh. She loved seeing others enjoy life. Another thing that brought her joy was tending the flowers that she grew.
She is survived by her loving husband: Frank Shaw; one daughter: Sharon (Steve Sims) Shaw of Mt Pleasant; granddaughter: Nicole (Adam) Taylor of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; great-grandson: Cullen Taylor of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; great great-granddaughter: Ellah Taylor of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; sisters: Helen (Tommy) Desruisseaux of Killen, Alabama and Janice (George) Osborne of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; and sister-in-law: Connie Ezell of Hendersonville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Neal and Gary Ezell; and son: Stephen M. Shaw.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home, Mt Pleasant from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Services will be Friday, June 21, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Bro. Bill Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
