Wesley Manco Jackson, 91, died June 7, 2019. He was born September 7, 1927 in Vina, AL to Luther and Annie Jackson. Wesley enjoyed fishing, rummaging and playing solitaire. He was a kid at heart and loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday, June 17, 2 p.m.at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Robert Wood officiating. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-nine years – Mildred “Mit” Jackson; two daughters- Deborah Foster and Sherrie Ostrander, both of Beach Park, IL; five grandchildren – Christopher Foster, April Foster, Wendi Good, Jamie Ostrander (Debbie) and Dana Ostrander and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother and ten siblings.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Ostrander, Dustin Ostrander, Trevor Ostrander, Wade Irby, Lucas Holden and Alex Good.
Visitation will be Monday, June 17, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
