MUSCLE SHOALS & PHIL CAMPBELL – Northwest-Shoals Community College (NW-SCC) is in the process of transitioning to a new software system, OneACCS, which will streamline processes and information throughout the Alabama Community College System (ACCS).
The implementation of new technology will provide enhanced services and unprecedented access from mobile devices. New and current students are encouraged to meet with their advisors ahead of the transition to OneACCS to prepare for fall registration. The transition will not affect the summer semester.
The overall process for OneACCS involves all student, financial, accounts receivable, and human resources records, and the registration date is tentative based on transition completion.  If registration dates are updated or changed, students will be notified via email, social media, website, and local media outlets.
“This upgrade will benefit Northwest-Shoals and the entire ACCS,” stated NW-SCC President Dr. Glenda Colagross. “We are especially excited for our students and how the upgrade to OneACCS will improve their ease of access throughout the entire registration process.”
Other colleges in the first group for OneACCS are Calhoun, Drake State, Gadsden State, Jefferson State, Shelton State, Snead State, Wallace-Selma, and Wallace State-Hanceville.
The first day of fall registration for our scholarship students is tentatively set for July 15-16. Currently enrolled students, who have earned 30 or more hours, will be allowed to register on July 17-19. All other students will be allowed to register beginning July 22.
