Ava Lee Wamsley Guyton, 88, of Hamilton, AL, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at Marion Regional Nursing Home. She was born in Hackleburg, Alabama in Sunday May 03, 1931 to L.E. Wamsley and Viola Boyd Wamsley.

Ava Lee was a member of the Hamilton United Methodist Church, Methodist women’s Club and Panarama Club.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 12-2 p.m. at the Hamilton United Methodist Church. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the Hamilton United Methodist Church with Bro. Jeff Armbrester officiating. And burial at Hamilton City Cemetery.

She was preceded by her husband, William (Bill) Austin Guyton; parents, L.E. Wamsley and Viola Boyd Wamsley; infant son, Austin Craig Guyton; son, Tommy Guyton; granddaughter, Karen Dillard; grandson, Lynn Guyton; sister, Mildred Gober.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Melinda Franks (husband, Phillip); son, Daryl Guyton; grandchildren, Kristen Hall (husband, Brent), Rachel Chaffin (husband, Caleb), Zacharie Guyton; eight great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Teresa Guyton and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
