R. B. Mears, 82, of Courtland passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at his residents. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home Moulton AL. The funeral service will be at 2.00 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in the chapel with Neal Fowler officiating.. Burial will be in King Cemetery Wolf Springs AL.
Survivors include his three sons Steve Mears (Patricia), Joel Mears, Preston Mears, (Jannett);
12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and one sister Joyce George.
He was preceded in death by his wife Louise Dutton Mears; one son Charles Ray Mears; parents Jorle Mears and Lucy Chaney Mears; three brothers Billy Mears, Jorle Mears ,Gurney Mears; one sister Janie Mears; and one daughter in law Sherry Mears.
