Mr. Edwin Albert Frey, age 90, of Decatur, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Decatur Health & Rehabilitation. His family will host a memorial service at a later date.
Mr. Frey was born June 24, 1928, in Saginaw, MI to Frank Frey and Anna Neuman Frey. He was a U. S. Army veteran who served in Korea, and worked as a commercial and industrial electrician. Mr. Frey was an avid angler who thoroughly enjoyed fishing in Alaska.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Clare Boyer Frey of Decatur; three sons, David Frey of Anchorage, AK, James “Jim” Frey (Leslie) of Anchorage, AK, and Steven Frey (Lisa) of Decatur, AL; one granddaughter, Cecelia Pullen (Robert) of Eagle River, AK; and two great-grandchildren, Samuel Pullen and Elias Pullen, both of Eagle River, AK.
