Mr. Jerry Wayne Brumitt, age 68 of Athens, AL passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Brumitt was born on January 5, 1951 in Limestone County to Quinton Ezra Brumitt and Douglas Anna Burns Brumitt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and one sister.
Mr. Brumitt is survived by his wife, Patty McCluskey; brothers, Dwight Brumitt (Diane), Lonnie Brumitt (Janice) and James Brumitt (Cindy); sister, Reba Moss; several nieces and nephews; four great nieces and one great nephew.
Mr. Brumitt enjoyed gospel music and shooting pool.
Services for Mr. Brumitt will be at 2:00PM on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Donald Terry officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45 prior to the service. Burial will be in Lentzville Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Mathew Brumitt, Andrew Boyd, Billy Stover, Trent Moss, Ricky Hall and Trace Bradford.
