COLBERT COUNTY-On Thursday, January 17 the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warning regarding a vehicle in the Muscle Shoals area stopping and the driver and passenger asking suspicious questions:
“BE AWARE – CAUTION …. There are reports in the Eastern side of Muscle Shoals, between River Rd 
and 6th Street and area of Wilson Dam Rd, – of a dark blue or black colored Nissan Quest roaming the area stopping at houses asking strange questions. The photo provided by citizens is the area of 6th and Wilson Dam. Two white males have been seen in the vehicle and one is pictured in a photo below. He has asked home owners how many women or girls live in the residence. He has claimed to be a student practicing public speaking to people. The tag # is 47VJ958. This vehicle could go into other neighborhoods AND the men could change vehicles also. Do not open your doors for anyone that you do not know and please advise any children or elderly that you know to not answer their doors unless they know who is at the door. Until more information is gathered consider this subject as questionable or dangerous.”
