Joe Randall Stover, 78, of Decatur, passed away on January 13, 2019. His visitation will be on Wednesday, January 16th, at Roselawn Funeral Home from noon to 2 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Sandra Locke-Godbey officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Joe is survived by his wife, Elaine Holbert Stover; daughters, Terri Stover and Jacque (Rusty) Patrick; and four grandchildren, Colin Patrick, Elaina Stover, Keira Patrick and Joely Stover.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Burch Anderson Stover and Margaret Viola Robinson.
He served two years in the U.S. Army and worked 34 years for the Department of Defense. Mr. Stover graduated from Troy State University with a B.S. in Computer Sciences. The family would like to sincerely thank Drs. Harbin, Gladish and Boyle, and their staffs, and especially the staff at Dialysis Center Inc.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Patrick, Colin Patrick, Bill Stribling and Brad Knight.
