Patsy Emmons Murray, 78 of Muscle Shoals, died Friday, January 11, 2019. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Charlie James officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield.

Patsy was a long time resident of the Shoals. She was a former Sears employee and also worked as a LPN and a realtor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lucy Bates; first husband, Tommy Emmons; and brothers, J.D. Bates and John David Bates, Jr.
Patsy is survived by her husband, Hillard Murray; sons, Ronnie Emmons and Scott Emmons (Trena); daughter, Kay Lawson (Wayne); brother, Bobby Bates (Bonnie); and one grandson, Aaron Emmons.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
