Cindy Coffman – obituary

Cindy Denise CoffmanCindy Coffman, 57, passed away January 8, 2019. She was born September 22, 1961. Cindy is preceded in death by her father Carl W. Coffman. Survived by mother Mildred Hill Coffman, sister Carla (Bill) Puckett of Nashville, TN; niece Emily (Stephen) Breinig of Franklin, TN; nephew Nicholas (Amy) Puckett of Fairview, TN; great nieces and nephew, Blake and Mary Morgan Breinig of Franklin, TN; and Annie Puckett of Fairview, TN; aunts and cousins.

Cindy was a hugger and had a smile for all. She loved her family, her church, community and caregivers. She loved going to camp, movies, bingo and Nascar. She attended Thompson Station Church of Christ and Northview Church of Christ. Cindy worked at the Impact Workshop until she got her dream job at Goodwill. She did so well that DIDD featured her in a documentary promoting the hiring of people with disabilities.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Renee Reed, Lee Brown, Susan King and the staff at Kelsey Way home.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with David Skidmore and Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be her cousins. Honorary pallbearers include Anne Kelly, Lee Brown, Renee Reed, Susan King, Sara Hood, and Phil Pantall.
