Maxine Elizabeth Locke Houle, age 89 of Franklin, TN passed away December 20, 2018. Veteran of the U.S. Navy where she served as an Officer and Nurse. She married her husband who was a Naval Aviator. Maxine graduated from General Hospital Nursing Program. She worked at Parkview Hospital that later became Centennial Medical Center from 1961 until her retirement in 1996. Preceded in death by husband, Frank S. Houle, Sr.; parents, Claude Clifton Sr. & Sally Elizabeth Anderson Locke. Survived by: son, Frank (Andrea) Houle; grandchild, Frank S. “Tripp” Houle III; sisters, Ruby Loucks of Ohio and Catherine Grice of Nashville, TN; brother, Bobby Locke, Sr of Franklin, TN; several nieces and nephews and the honor of helping to raise, Bobby Locke, Jr., Jeff Locke, Todd Locke and Kim Locke. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Joe Copolo officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Bobby Locke, Jr., Todd Locke, Steve Locke, Tripp Houle, Derrick Duerr and Richard Miller will serve as Pallbearers. Jeff Locke and John Grice, Jr. will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
