Mr. Wendell Nabors, age 79, of Boaz, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at his home.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2018 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Rev. Shane Bowling and Rev. Rob Reed will officiate. Casket bearers will be Josh Nabors, Caleb Nabors, Jacob Nabors, Cody Carroll, Brian Wilson and Shane Carroll. Honorary casket bearers will be his nieces and nephews, Shane Howard, Charlie Billingsley, Ray Cantu, staff of Shepherds Cove Hospice, Dr. Kwan and Staff, Dr. Andrew and Debra Reiland, Dr. G. Patel and staff and Dr. Caldwell and staff.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 until 8.
He is survived by his wife, Rosella Nabors, children, Jeff (Lisa) Nabors and Wendy (Shane) Carroll, grandchildren, Josh, Caleb and Jacob Nabors, Alyssa and Amanda Wilson, Cody and Shayla Carroll, ten great grandchildren, sister, Mary (Dewitt) Mullins, several nieces, nephews and special friends, Kim Oliver, Cathy McKee and Glenda Sims.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Steele, granddaughter, Hailey Carroll, parents, G. B. and Jessie Nabors, brothers, Ronald, Julius, Jerry and Jimmie Nabors.
