NWSCC and the Shoals Chamber of Commerce offer Shoals voters “Meet the Candidates”

Muscle Shoals, Ala. — Northwest-Shoals Community College (NW-SCC) and the Shoals Chamber of Commerce are giving Shoals area voters insight into the candidates vying for County offices in Colbert and Lauderdale by means of social media sites and Comcast channel 192.

All candidates were contacted by the Shoals Chamber of Commerce and invited to participate in the initiative. Northwest-Shoals Community College Broadcasting produced a seven to nine minute video on each of the candidates. The candidates were asked to address the following points: who you are, where you live, what you do for a living, why you are running for this office, what are the challenges and needs of the community and what your plans are to address them.

All the videos can be watched individually on the NW-SCC YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/OfficialNWSCC) or via links on the College’s facebook and twitter pages. The videos can also be viewed on Comcast channel 192 beginning at 6:00 pm each night until the November 6^th election.
