Funeral service for Curtis J. Strickland, 87, of Falkville, will be Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 1:00PM at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Bro. Johnny Reid officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the church.
Mr. Strickland died November 14, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 9, 1931 in Morgan County to Rufus Curtis Strickland and Mamie Elsie Dunlap Strickland. He was a retired Korean veteran and was a member of DAV Chapter 11 in Decatur. Mr. Strickland was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maryann Louise Strickland; and brother, Bobby Gerald Strickland.
