Temporary Blackland Prairie Trail Closure On Natchez Trace Parkway

 TUPELO, MS – A portion of the Blackland Prairie section of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail from Lakeshire Drive to Highway 78/I-22 will be closed due to hazardous trees. Recent storms have caused needed tree maintenance before the trail is safe for users. The closure will be from Tuesday, November 13, 2018 until further notice. During this period, trail users should obey closure postings and avoid the area.
