Thomas Wayne Tidwell, age 74 formerly of Athens, AL, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018. Mr. Tidwell was born October 12, 1944 to Maxwell Orman Tidwell and Florence Alma Thomas Tidwell.
Mr. Tidwell was a successful business man who owned several auto parts stores. He was an active member of the National Guard for many years.
He was preceded in death, by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Carmen Tidwell Goode and husband Randy, and son, Barton Thomas Tidwell; five grandchildren, Katelyn Goode Bivins, Meredith Elaine Goode, Caroline Elise Goode, Chase DeCarlo and McKenzie Tidwell; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
