Louie G. Pilkinton, age 80, of Columbia, Tennessee passed away on September 23, 2018 at NHC Maury Regional.
Louie was born on November 25, 1937 to the late Guy and Dorothy Pilkinton. He was a 1956 graduate of Santa Fe High School. On November 20, 1970 Louie married his beloved wife of 48 years Orenne. After retirement Louie and Orenne enjoyed traveling together, amongst some of the places they traveled were Yellowstone, the Dakotas and Washington D.C. He enjoyed watching Titans football and Nascar.
Louie is survived by his wife, Orenne; son, Gregory Wade Pilkinton; daughter, Sonia Pilkinton; brother in law, Norman (Margaret) Harris; sisters, Donna (Ray) Walters and Barbara Ann (Stan) Watson; brothers, Billy (Betty) Pilkinton, Rodger Pilkinton and Douglas Pilkinton; granddaughter Stephanie (Wesley) Ricketts; great-grandson, Jonathan Ricketts; great granddaughter, Brooklyn Ricketts; stepchildren, Tim (Mary) Shannon, Jennifer (Stephan) Phillips; granddaughters, Abby and Anna Phillips, Amy (Alan) Beddingfield, Ashley (Matt) McArdle, Gavin and Walker Beddingfield and Madison McArdle.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Angie Trimmer officiating in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Rodger Pilkinton, Tim Shannon, Stephan Phillips, Doug Pilkinton, Billy Pilkinton, Norman Harris, Tommy Hanvey, Ray Walters and Stan Watson. Honorary pallbearers are the Santa Fe High School class of 1956.
