Mrs. Betty Faye Copeland, age 84, of the Joppa area, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Diversicare of Arab.
Mrs. Copeland was born on August 1, 1934 to Lewis and Murtis Lee Easterwood in Cullman County. She married the late Hershall Copeland who passed in 1985. Mr. and Mrs. Copeland raised feeder pigs and cows. She also worked at Wrangler formerly known as Blue Bell. Mrs. Copeland loved to garden, can vegetables, crochet and sew.
She is survived by her daughter-in-laws, Susie Copeland & Uvone Copeland; nephew, Mitchell Easterwood; niece, Jo Ann Brock; host of great nieces and great nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Franklin Copeland & Steve Copeland; brothers, Odis Easterwood & Olan “Jack” Easterwood; sisters, Opal Easterwood & Opha Easterwood Sanders; nephews, Wallace Easterwood & Michael Easterwood.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, Joppa with Bro. Greg Bradford, officiating with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
