LIMESTONE COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported a traffic accident on Saturday, June 30 in Limestone County resulting in the death of one victim:
“A three-vehicle crash at 12:15 p.m. today, June 30, has claimed the life of a Hazel Green man. Brandon Michael Bennett, 22, was killed when the 2005 Yamaha motorcycle he was operating collided with a 2014 Chevrolet Impala at the intersection U.S. 72 and Burgreen Road eight miles west of Athens. The Impala then struck a 2017 Nissan Versa.
Bennett was pronounced dead at the scene, but there were no other reported injuries. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
