Charles David Rogers, Sr., 82, died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Regional One Medical Center, Memphis, TN. He was born March 11, 1936 in Goodwater, AL. He was owner of Lance Garment Corporation in Red Bay and Vina and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 23, 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 14811 AL 172, Hackleburg, AL 35564 with Jerry Abbot officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by three sons – David Rogers, Jr. (Sophie) Tuscumbia, AL, Terry Rogers (Nancy) Midlothian, TX and Daniel Rogers (Susan) Huntsville, AL; one daughter – Charli Hardin, Red Bay, AL; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one sister – Libby Margaret Rogers, Goodwater, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Troy Rogers and Margaret Wynell Livingston Rogers and two brothers, Robert and Tony Rogers.

Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
