ALCD5 Held Town Hall Tuesday Night…Great Turnout With Great Dialogue

FLORENCE-The ALCD 5 hosted a Democratic Town Hall series. The fifth event of the series took place Tuesday, April 24th,at the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 320. The turnout was great and the audience had thoughtful and relevent questions for the candidates.

The Town Halls will take place throughout various cities within the 5th Congressional District. It gives the citizens of District 5 the chance to hear and question candidates running for office in the district.

Speaking on the panel  Tuesday night were Ronnie Green- Candidate for Lauderdale County Commission Dist 2, Kim Jones- Candidate for Lauderdale County Coroner, Carolyn Waterman-Candidate for Board of Education-Place 4, Caroline Self- Candidate for Senate District 1, Johnny Mack Morrow- Candidate for Senate District 6, and
Lora Kay Morrow- Candidate for House District 2.
